'NHL 15' Demo Coming On Tuesday, August 26th

EA SPORTS announced today that the demo for NHL 15 will be available to download on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Tuesday, August 26th. This will make for a busy sports day with Madden NFL 15 coming out on the same day.

The demo will let you play a rematch of last season's Stanley Cup: Los Angeles Kings vs. New York Rangers. You will be able to play a full game with 2-minute periods. You will also have the option to play at L.A.'s Staples Center or N.Y.'s Madison Square Garden.

  • A full game with two-minute periods? Thirty of them, or did the zero just disappear on you? (Just wondering and still getting over the fact of the Kings' win. Sigh.)

I did not drop the zero. But I can see how that could be confusing. Since the game is just a demo, you can play a full game (3 periods) and the the periods are only two minutes each. The full version of the game will let you play 20-minute periods if you want. But most people just play five. I thought to myself that the Hawks should have been in this demo. That was a tough loss.
