EA Sports has announced a new real-time physics engine for Madden NFL 13 called the "Infinity Engine." This is a big step for the Madden franchise as this will eliminate canned animations as ball carriers are tackled and fall to the turf. Real-time physics in a game can also make for some strange, unrealistic collisions as well. I'll be looking forward to checking out the demo to see how it feels.
