Hot and Cold 5/27-6/2

Nate Jones put in some impressive early season performances after his shift from the bullpen this year, but recently, his form has not been so hot. This week Jones gave up 9 ER in 6.2 IP (2 starts) for a 12.15 ERA, 16 hits and 5 walks (3.15 WHIP) and 5 strikeouts. Jones had a 5.76 ERA in May after an impressive 2.42 ERA in April with 22 SO/6 BB. For the year Jones has a 4.94 ERA in 54.2 IP with a 1.77 WHIP and 44 SO/24 BB. Honorable mentions: Jeff Marquez 10 IP, 4 BB/7 SO, 6.30 ERA, Justin Edwards 11 IP, 4 BB/2 SO, 5.73 ERA and Andre Rienzo 3.2 IP, 2 SO/1 BB, 14.73 ERA.
