Scouting report
Jaye, along with Daniel Webb, came over from Toronto for Jason Frasor. Both pitchers the Sox received were raw with good velocity. Jaye was drafted in the 17th round out of high school in 2010, but signed late and made his pro debut in 2011. He struggled in the Appalachian League, but had good control. The following season the White Sox placed him with Low-A Kannapolis and the results weren't good (6.04 ERA, 65 K, 39 BB in 79 IP). Jaye had a hot start in his return to Kannapolis in 2013 with better peripherals and earned a promotion, but was pedestrian with Winston-Salem and his K rate dropped. 2014 saw him back and forth between A+ and AA, and his K/9 was in the 4's. His control is decent, but the key to his success will be the development of his secondary stuff to go with his low-to-mid 90s sinker/fastball. Recently, there have been positive reports on his curve (from Spring Training) and his slider (more recently). He's been doing quite well in AA this season, where he's still on the younger side at 23 years old.

Major League Outlook: Back end starter or middle reliever
ETA: 2016-2017
