Scouting report
Infante was used as a starter for his first three years of pro ball and failed to stand out. In 2010 the White Sox moved him to the bullpen and he quickly became one of the system's best relief prospects. A big reason for this is his fastball, which sits in the mid-high 90s and has touched 100. Infante impressed the Sox enough in 2010 to earn a September call-up, where he pitched 4.2 scoreless innings. He rarely gives up home runs, and didn't give up any in 2010, and is capable of getting a decent amount of ground balls. Infante's success will depend on becoming more consistent with his curveball and improving his control. Thanks to high velocity Infante has decent upside as a reliever, but still has a ways to go to get there.
