Star of the Day: Outfielder and 2013 22nd round draft pick Nolan Earley got a late start to the season, but he's making up for lost time. The former South Alabama star, playing in just his second game this season, went 2-3 with a homer, a walk, and two RBI's, one of which came in the 9th inning to tie the game. Earley appeared in 61 games last season in Rookie Ball and hit .310/.410/.424 so he could be one to keep an eye on going forward.

Who is Hot: Speedy outfielder Jacob May stole his 18th and 19th bases, he is hitting .317/.349/.488 over his last ten games. Kannapolis first baseman Danny Hayes went 3-4 with a double, which raised his season line to .286/.393/.410. Omar Narvaez went 1-2 with a double and a walk, which must have inspired Baseball America's Josh Norris to tweet some praise his way.
