  • Some notes from opening day:

Eduardo Escobar stole the show for the Dash finishing 4-5 with 2 doubles and several very good plays in the field. Brandon Short and Kenny Williams Jr. both homered in support.

Jordan Danks and Tyler Flowers both homered to give the Knights hope but it was all in vain as the bullpen coughed up the lead. Viciedo chipped in with a pair of hits.

Brent Morel's double was the lone extra base hit for the Barons. He finished 1-4. John Shelby also got a hit and stole a base.

The Intimidators' game was rained out, they play a doubleheader today.

  • Double dip on Opening day...Intimidators face Julio Teheran, the #3 ranked prospect in the Braves system today. Should be interesting.

  • In reply to Intimidators:

Yeah I was looking forward to Teheran/Serafin yesterday but unfortunately it didn't happen.

And Teheran is definitely a prospect to watch.
