I came across another video lately (from a few years back!) that focused on the links between Birmingham, England and Chicago, but in a different way. This video features Dr. Norman Price, who is the Chair of Birmingham Science City, on his quest in Chicago (and Illinois as a whole) to develop the technological and research links between the two cities.
Birmingham Science City’s vision and objectives are to develop, use and promote science and technology to improve prosperity and quality of life.
In this video, Dr. Norman price runs through Birmingham (and West Midland’s as a region) achievements and importance in the industrial revolution. He requests the support and assistance from Illinois based institutions into further helping them achieve their objectives for quality of life and prosperity for the future.
