Students in Sister City Cultural Exchange program

I came across this video recently and, given the theme and title of my blog, I thought it would be cool to share it.

Titled Sister City Sisters, a co-production from Fruit Tree Films and Maverick TV, this 30 minute film follows Brummie art student Dina Choudhury on her visit to Chicago which also sees Chicagoan Robbin Major, a 19 year old drama student go to Birmingham as part of an exchange program to learn about each others city.

Watch this short commissioned by Chicago and Birmingham City Councils, as Dina visits the Union League Club of Chicago, learns Football at the home of the Chicago Bears stadium Soldier Field, and finds out how to make a stuffed pizza at Giordano's Pizzeria.

Robbin has plenty of fun to, as she visits the Rep theater (and joins in for some drama fun), has fun on the drums at The Drum, joins in with gospel singers at St Paul's Church, and makes her own culinary dish at an Indian restaurant.
