5 Jokes for the Back-to-School Season

1.) The Obama and Romney campaigns confirm the spiraling cost of college. Nearly $2 billion alone will be spent to win the 2012 Electoral College.

2.) If Northwestern University is such an elite school, why does its name make no directional sense no matter how I spin the map around?

3.) Helpful tips for incoming college freshman:

►  Create FREE “download-my-lecture-notes” app, but transcribe only
80% to keep the curve in your favor
►  Avoid the paid psych experiments. $20 ain’t worth becoming
      a Final Destination casualty
►  Begin every professor-led online chat with “LMFAO.”
►  Love you some Carly Rae Jepsen while you can. In a year,
      she'll feel so freshman year.

4.) I for one am hoping the Chicago Public Schools re-open on time. Who knew X-Ray maintenance work could be so seasonal.

5.) In the next round of contract negotiations, the Chicago Teachers Union should propose extending Mayor Emanuel’s work day. Or at least cut back on his 10 weeks of paid family vacation. Who does he think he is? A school teacher?
