F.I.T. in the Lord with faith-inspired training
You are not your own. Honor God with your body.
I've learned the secret to being healthy and that is: when you F.I.T. in the Lord with faith-inspired training,  you become healthy from the inside out. There is an old expression that simply states, "Live as if you will die tomorrow, but plan as if you will live forever!" How do you do this? By investing in YOU. The first way to do that is to KNOW that you were born with potential, power, and purpose to bring glory and honor to God. Yes, He custom-made us to have a life of joy, peace, happiness, and abundance. We all love these words. However, there is another aspect of our lives for which God created us, and that is for us to honor Him with our bodies. His Word tells us this:
"Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body"1 Cor 6: 19-20 (NLT).
I love helping people apply this Scripture to their lives with inspiring faith-focused fitness exercises and routines so that people can experience the fullness of Christ.  While the world watches obesity rates skyrocket, coupled with the associated health care costs for those suffering from hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and the like, I am going out into the churches and the world to inform them that God is calling for His people to repent and renew themselves in His spirit. And it's not an easy message to deliver either.
Like Moses, Jonah, Gilead, and all the others who received a word from God to deliver to His people, I too feel inept, inadequate, unprepared, and just plain old scared. Nobody wants to confront the sin of gluttony. It's so much easier to deal with issues outside of oneself than it is to face the harsh reality for consequences of one's own actions. But it's so crucial for our healing as a people. We can get beyond the need of gouging ourselves with comfort foods to feel better. We can know who we are, and whose we are, so that we can heal and enjoy our fullness in Christ.
I'm no saint and I'm definitely not perfect, but I do know why we must F.I.T. in the Lord with faith-inspired training. That's why I thank God that I teach fitness classes where we can pray and usher in the Holy Spirit so that people can truly become healthy and well. Prayer may be out of the school but it isn't out of my gym where I teach, and I thank God we can F.I.T. in the Lord there as long as we like with faith-inspired training.
