The Fire announced today that they have waived defenders Daniel Woolard and Austin Washington. Washington — whom the Fire drafted in the fourth round of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft — and Woolard — who was drafted in the fourth round of the 2007 SuperDraft — combined to make eight starts in 2009.
