  • Quote Peter Wilt (via

“Nelson’s been around the game a long time and I’m sure he has some candidates in mind,” Guppy added. “Equally, he’s probably trying to keep an open mind and consider new people he’s not as familiar with. Three guys that I would have on my candidate list are [US Under-20 head coach] Tab Ramos, [New York Cosmos head coach] Giovanni Saverese, and [former New York City FC manager] Jason Kreis.”

  • Guys. All we need is a Gm whose best year was with Chivas US and a member of the very shaky US national team (Ramos) as our head coach. If that doesn't sound like another terrible year What is? When I try to hire a person for my company I try to get the person with the most experience success. The fire on the other hand tries to get the person that maybe could be good. The combo of Rodriguez and Ramos with a combined history of being in charge of 1 year will be a disaster. If only ah would sell this team.

  • "He pulls a knife, you pull a gun..."

    Best intro ever.

  • Guys whoever set up the podcast should try again. I have tried to listen to it on three different computers and all three say something like not properly set.

  • In reply to Brokerman:

I've been able to get it on my lap tops and mobile devices. Are you not getting anything at any of the two links?

  • In reply to Guillermo Rivera:

I have tried multiple devices and am not able to get the podcast.

  • In reply to Brokerman:

Email me at and see if we can't figure it out

  • Bliss out.

  • If you follow me on Twitter, you already know that Brian Bliss, Aron Hyde, Trevor James, and Adrian Lambe have all been let go.

    More to come.

    Stay tuned.

  • Listening to the podcast right now. Top 5 moments? Not sure, either, but we did beat Dallas so we won the Brimstone Cup, in the FWIW department.

  • In reply to Fuegofan:

    In no particular order:

    -Getting the white stripe back
    -Sacking FY
    -Finally beating Seattle
-Not having a meaningless friendly to congest the schedule
-The organized protest displays in the Section (Harlem End) for the August and September home matches.

    I left off
-the signing of Maloney/the brilliant contribution in the goal vs Toronto/letting Maloney go
-getting a decent kit (the away kit)
