Squad close to fully fit
Alex, Dilly Duka, and Gonzalo Segares have all returned to full training and should give Frank Yallop a pretty full compliment of players to choose from this Saturday. Segares played 45 minutes in last Friday's reserve match but hasn't seen real game action since week 2 against Portland. Greg Cochrane has more than capably filled in so it will be interesting to see which direction Yallop is leaning with the veteran left back available again.
Alex suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of the New England match but said afterwards that he didn't feel it was a serious injury. He's back on the training pitch now so that appears to be a good sign. Duka appeared to be ready to return full time a few weeks ago after a 33 minute substitution stint on April 6 against the Union but was scratched from the travel list on the Friday before the Montreal game.
USL-Pro affiliate?
The Fire are in the midst of securing a partner for next season. Brian Bliss has acknowledged ongoing talks with Arizona United SC but the revelation of a new USL-Pro club in St. Louis brings up an interesting possibility. There will apparently be an announcement made this week regarding the new St. Louis team and their introduction into USL-Pro. Proximity would make it a natural fit if there is no club in Wisconsin any time soon.
Fire Confidential Radio
We're hoping to have some news shortly regarding the evolution of the Fire Confidential Podcast. We've looked at the possibility of a live weekly call-in program that would involve you all in the conversation. A day, time, format, and outlet are close to being finalized. If it's something you're interested in seeing/hearing we'll continue to pursue it.
This platform would also help get the podcast into a more structured schedule.

My podcast listening has been thrown into disarray by the irregularity of the Fire Conf show and the quiet elimination of the All-In podcast just the Chicago Fire Weekly radio show began.
We'll see what we can do about maintaining your regularity. ;)

Announcement on USL-Pro to St. Louis will be made tomorrow. Smells like an affiliate to me.
