  • I'm not a fan of international friendlies in September but this one was fairly entertaining. Stay tuned for post game comments from Klopas, Bone, and Pineda.

  • I thought the Fire seconds played a pretty good game, particularly in the second half. Lots of nice quick ball movement short and long. Quick impressions: Victor P did well but still has a way to go in standing up to the physical challenges. Tony Walls impressed me with his hustle and positioning. Dom at forward mixed it up much better, playing off to team-mates at times, pushing forward on speed at other times. Hunter Jumper seemed a bit over matched at time, particularly in the center in the first half. Anibaba did a great job settling the back line down in the second half.

    Agree with all of that. Pineda is still developing, needs to get stronger but he's still young. Says he's added 20 lbs. this season though.
