A bit off topic, but nice goal by Oduro.
Well done DerSting! Who gets the next goal? Baggio? Nyarko? Let's get another.
A first half lead! I do not care who puts in in the net, I just want to see more!
WOW!!!! A descent crowd in Gillette Stadium.
had a few great chances to score.. oduro, baroch, and ferrari..
and nazarit
and palladini
There was some good play few minutes here couple minutes there. Still need to improve. Wed should be interesting. See you there...
My Man of the Match was Oduro. Not only he scored in the first half, he was all over the place pressuring Reis and the Revolution defense.
The team is now starting to reate tons of chances , hit goalposts or crossbars in the games against Sea , KC , and NE have cost us 6 standings points.
This however will be a good tie if they get at least 4 points in these next 2 games.
i'll take the way the team is playing now with lots of chances to score over the CLDC method of few chances & most of the possession in our own half
It's just too bad that Gibbs plays like a moron at times, they still lack a top flight defender.
Most of the goals given up by the Fire were the result of stupidity of one player or another.
Yes they were , but it seems like they are coming in more powerful waves right now.
don't forget though, they get back Sobrio back with CR being done in the gold cup, and not sure who else they missing on C duty
eh, they created chances but they were fewer chances. the way they are playing now, it seems the attack has more purpose. they dont just automatically pass the ball back to the defense or keeper because someone is pressured
At the beginning of the season, we were buzzing about the Uruguayan connection. Now, we're looking at the speedy Ghanaians. Oduro looks so dangerous streaking up that right side and and Patrick's confidence is increasing every day. Sean is finding his form as well. Cautiously optimistic.
I have Liked Frank's use of his subs in each match so far. Frankly (pun intended), he has shown great game management skills and has been able to improve the team's performance through his subs. I have liked the play of Nyarko and Oduro on the wings. Where does Marco Papa play when he returns on Wednesday? I would put him at central midfield and keep Oduro and Nyarko on the wings. Did you see Marco against Mexico? I thought he was excellent except for the missed shot that would have put Guatemala up 2-0.
