Some interesting moves from DLC.  Paladini and Bone are both in the starting eleven while the team is listed in a 4-1-4-1 formation. Pari Pantazopoulos is also in the eighteen for the first time in his MLS career.  Marco Pappa is wearing the armband.

  • CDLC had to shake it up in the midfield. I thought Nyarko looked lost last week. Do you think paldini and bone can be a little more physical? This is the mls, so it doesn't have to be pretty to be effective.

  • In reply to Gibbeldinho:

Neither is particularly physical but DLC is obviously trying for more possession with more bodies in midfield.

  • In reply to cesba:

Am I wrong for wanting someone from the midfield to put a hard tackle on someone? Take a yellow, send a message!

  • don't like how he is treating Johnson or Husidic. 60 min and fairly effective to back to the bench, and starter with a few hiccups to riding the bench..

  • i been disappointed with nyarko most of this season. i dunno if bone will be the answer but its worth a try i suppose

anyone got a internet feed they can link? matchday live has chicago match blocked again :(

  • In reply to CountChocula:

    try stopstream dot com

Man, we have to start finishing these one-on-ones against the goalie. This is just killing us.

  • In reply to Ufficio:

    sorry, that's stopstream dot tv

  • In reply to Ufficio:

i found one at oleotv. thx anyway

  • In reply to Ufficio:

good goal by pappa, but oduro was the reason for that goal - been a good pickup and he has shown more than nyarko so far this season IMO.

just hoping they continue to play the counter, and dont totally bunker in and concede 2/3 of the field to colorado

  • In reply to CountChocula:

Great cross from Oduro, but don't forget gaston's pass! I like him in the mid, someone needed to show some flexibility.

To piggyback a bit, I was going to say that Oduro is doing what I always wanted Nyarko to be. Take notes Patrick!

  • In reply to CountChocula:

Gotta be happy with that first half, but we really need to finish this out.

  • In reply to Ufficio:

  • In reply to CountChocula:

Playing nice and quick on the counter.. maybe it's time DLC stops trying to get the possession game and hone the counter game more, we seem to have a talent for it.

  • In reply to lijien:

being carved up now, to much time for the midfield to give service..

  • In reply to lijien:

Bone and Paladini not doing much better than previous center mid pairings.

  • In reply to lijien:

I wasn't that impressed with Bone tonight. I think Husidic is better for now. He needs minutes to build his confidence. Bone needs more finishing yet, and I think the Reserve League will be good for him. I liked what I've seen of Paladini, so I hope Husidic and Paladini get paired if Pause has to continue to stay out.

  • In reply to Fuegofan:

I've probably seen enough of Bone. I'd rate Husidic ahead of him.

  • In reply to Fuegofan:

Good to get a point on the road. Not good to blow another lead.

  • In reply to cesba:

If we average a point a match we make the playoffs. A result on the road was needed and just tonight.

  • In reply to Ufficio:

The Fire lead 1-0 at the half. Colorado controlled the possession for the early part of the first half but the Fire got a little better as the half progressed.

Dan Kelly has also put the word "the" back in front of Chicago Fire. Thank me later ;)
