  • Mexico 2 Fire 0
Victor Pineda played the full ninety at the holding mid spot but did come forward a bit more in the last twenty minutes. Mexico controlled the entire first half and most of the second but the Fire u-18's did mount more of a challenge in the second half. The visitors could have scored a few more goals if not for a few big saves from Fire keeper Sam Euler.

  • I heard at the Luncheon yesterday how Posada and his Staff want
to promote Chicago - Fire Soccer in Chicago, but then their actions
    don't support what they say.
No mention at all on WWW.Chicago-Fire.com about today's game at
Toyota Park about the Fire u-18 VS Mexico.
I would guess Julian Posada doesn't know about the very large Mexican Soccer Fan Base in and around Chicago.
Just goes to show he is "THE WRONG GUY FOR CHICAGO FIRE PRESIDENT"

Kind of silly that the U-18 game was not heavily promoted on their site. I heard that complaint from a few people at the game yesterday.
