CJ Brown Retirement Party on Tuesday

The Fire's "Thank You CJ" event which doubles as a team awards night and a chance to honor the retiring Fire original will be held on Tuesday night at The Pitch (2142 N. Clybourn).  The party starts at 6:30 while the ceremony begins at 7:30 and will be emceed by Fox's Amy Freeze.

The Fire will continue training at Toyota Park until November 19, so most of the squad should be in attendance.

  • The Fire will participate in the Carolina Challenge Cup during the upcoming pre-season. The CCC will be held from March 5-12 at South Carolina's Blackbaud Stadium.

    The teams participating will be the Fire, Toronto FC, DC United, and Charleston Battery.

    Since Jeffries is going to Argentina, even though Riquelme signed with Boca Juniors for 4 years 5 million, I wonder how much of that money would the Fire have to pay off Riquelme's contract from Boca Juniors?
