  • Krol was originally in the starting line up but was scratched after warm ups. Nyarko was moved into the starting eleven and Ristic moved to left back. Bone is now dressed.

  • Some good early pressure here again. A lot like that San Jose game a couple weeks back. Hopefully the same result!

  • The Toyota Park pitch is an embarrassment!

  • In reply to DerSting:

That sand pit in front of one of the goals is just plain bad.

  • great goal by lowry. probly one of the players least capable of scoring off the dribble & yet he created that goal on his own maybe better than any player has done this year other than ljungbergs goal vs san jose

  • Lowry had 2 really good goals in one game last year, too. He likes playing them!

  • Like DLC's mini soccer field clip board!

  • IMO ljungberg really deserved the penalty earlier as well - tackle from behind in the box.

  • Which is worse, the commentary or the officiating?

  • Not a bad first half. The Crew look a bit tired....this is their fourth match in less than two weeks.

  • In reply to cesba:

yeah, fairly even game, both teams have had chances, no one is dominating posession or shots. even if fire were down 1-0 i wouldnt be too dissatisfied

  • In reply to cesba:

    GOOOOOOOOOOALLLLL mcbride!

  • In reply to cesba:

    THE LEGEND!!!!

  • In reply to cesba:

53'- McBride scores on a low cross from Nyarko
    2-0 Fire

  • In reply to cesba:

    Scored a goal did McBride

  • In reply to cesba:

Pause and Lowry are so in love with each other, it's great. Glad they got to share the pitch tonight.

  • In reply to cesba:

one of the better fire games this year - two very nice goals, the didnt settle & bunker with the lead, but didnt expose the defense too much either. dykstra did fairly well (except the one shot ristic saved his ass)

besides the goals, they did have some other decent chances today. wish pappa and nyarko would quit trying to do so much however - they need to give up the ball rather than try to take on 4 defenders sometimes

  • In reply to cesba:

nyarko with both assists tonite, wasnt it?

  • In reply to cesba:

up and down with the fire this I don't get it, but I'll take it.

  • In reply to Adam25:
