  • The above is not a typo. De Los Cobos is busting out a 3-4-3 with Conde on the bench.

  • In reply to cesba:

my lord, let's cross our fingers with that back line.

  • In reply to cesba:

banner will probly have defensive duties

  • In reply to CountChocula:

Banner is indeed dropping back as needed.

  • In reply to CountChocula:

First Half 0-0. The best chance for both sides coming from a 15' shot by Collins John that Frei saved and TFC blocked the rebound.

TFC held possesion for most of the first 15 minutes. Fire picked it up after that but not much in terms of great chances from the new formation so far.

  • In reply to CountChocula:

The only shot on goal registered by both sides was John's shot in the 15th minute.

  • In reply to CountChocula:

I'll have some Bob Bradley audio up after the match as well as the usual Fire post game.

  • In reply to CountChocula:

really slow start for the fire - 1st 15 minutes were tough to watch

the picked it up and really controlled the game the last 15 minutes of the half (except the last minute)

  • In reply to CountChocula:

Just when we thought the Conde midfield experiment was over....it's Conde for Thorrington at the half.

  • In reply to CountChocula:

FL misses on a breakaway... he does not look sharp tonite, he's missed several passes as well

  • In reply to CountChocula:

That miss was a WOW moment.

  • In reply to CountChocula:

both teams tired? game is getting pretty stale

  • In reply to CountChocula:

    draw :(

  • In reply to CountChocula:

castillos best game as a fire player (still has a ways to go to merit a DP slot tho)

ljungbergs worst game as a fire player (he wasnt horrible, but he wasnt sharp either)

  • In reply to CountChocula:

Good to see Castillo playing so well in the second half. But for every upside there is a downside, namely Ljungberg's horror miss.

  • Wild, I guess he really was upset with Conde's marking. I hope Brown has enough wind in him to play on short rest.

  • In reply to DDT5583:

Kind of apparent which players he thinks need to learn how to mark.
