  • Can someone tell me about Lichaj? I don't know anything about him and see he's with an EPL club. I'll look at Wiki about him, but if anyone's seen him play and can fill me on, Id appreciate it.

I wonder if CDLC was coaching the team whether he'd have Banner on the team...

  • In reply to Drew:

My homeboy Lichaj is from Downers Grove. He's been drawing a lot of attention since he came up through the Villa academy system which is one of the best in the world.

  • Oh nice, he's from downer's grove! I guess I should know about this guy.

  • No honorary cap for McBride. Maybe he should have done a little more for the US.

  • In reply to fire1020:

He should def have a cap for this, can't think of a better retirement party.

  • In reply to fire1020:

I'm really excited for this game, hopefully I'll get to go.

  • In reply to fire1020:

I wonder if McBride was even approached by US soccer about it.

  • In reply to fire1020:

Sean Johnson comes in at #8 and Marco Pappa is #6 in MLSsoccer.com's 24 under 24 rankings.....

Here's an excellent article from Jeff Crandall about McBride's exclusion from the US-Poland match....

In typical McBride fashion, he did not think it was a good idea since it would take away from the current team.
