  • Collins John is not dressed. He did not train on Friday since he is apparently still suffering through some sort of virus.

  • surprised we wouldn't see Dimitrov on the bench then. I don;t think McBride is good for 90 and Patrick can't really play as a lone striker.

Good point. Only one true "forward" is dressed.

Some shaky defensive moments in the first half. The Fire need to tighten up in the back in order to hold on.
Nyarko is playing left mid while Pappa is on the right.

  • In reply to DDT5583:

apparently chicago is happy with a 1 goal lead *sigh*

IMO they need to keep opposing defense honest to take some pressure off their own defense.

i'd also like to see em swap pappa/nyarko around & see how that goes

  • In reply to DDT5583:

I'd also like to see less long balls.

  • In reply to DDT5583:

the TV guy just read my thoughts - what is the chicago strategy here? they seem random right now

  • In reply to DDT5583:

good effort on that goal. great initial pass by husidic to get it started

  • In reply to DDT5583:

Much needed three points. Be back later with post game.

  • In reply to DDT5583:

chicago really struggling to get the ball out of their back & keep possession. defense just can't get it to the mids, so they boot it up past the forwards to the opposition defense. frustrating to watch

other than that, i wasnt so much disappointed from the players as i was from the strategy of sitting back on a 1 goal lead. way too much philly posession in chicagos half IMO
