  • The starting 11 for Toronto:
Frei, Usanov, Cann, Attakora, and Gargan in goal and defense.
Peterson, Sanyang, DeGuzman, LaBrocca, DeRosario, and Barrett

  • Fire subs : Johnson, Watson-Siriboe, Umanzor, Bone, John, Dimitrov

    Bone dresses ahead of Banner

  • Why is Pause starting? OMG!!

  • 15' - Not sure why Dykstra continues to boot goal kicks in the air against the wind.

  • 24' - LaBrocca curls in a long range wind aided shot. 1-0 TFC

  • Camera work is terrible today

  • Rainy, windy and slippery in Toronto

  • 36' - Doran calls a long switch by Pause a "killer ball" and calls Pause's return a great sign for Fire fans.

  • In reply to cesba:

Doran was commenting on a former Fire player and making a comparison to Pause but he said Pause is more of an skilled player. HUH???

  • In reply to cesba:

Very sloppy defense for the Fire. It is going to be tough for them to score 2 goals now.

  • In reply to cesba:

47' - 2-0 Toronto as O'Brian White gets in behind CJ Brown and taps in a cross. The Fire's ace defensive mid can be seen just ahead of Brown watching White run through the box unmarked.

  • In reply to cesba:

51' - OMG! Logan Pause with a blast from distance!!!

  • In reply to cesba:

  • In reply to cesba:

HOLY COW!!! Pause 1st goal since 1996. Hide the women and children.

  • In reply to cesba:

51' - Corben Bone replaces Pappa

  • In reply to cesba:

Sorry make it Pause 1st goal since 2006. My mistake!!! Typo from the Logan Pause fever...LOL!!!

  • In reply to cesba:

66' - Barrett taps in a sitter as O'Brian White beats Krol and COnde

  • In reply to cesba:

  • In reply to cesba:

69' - Barrett scores again on breakaway resulting from a beatiful through ball from DeRosario. The Fire's entire back line is caught playing too far upfield.

  • In reply to cesba:

All of a sudden Barrett looks like Wayne Rooney. Poor play all around!!

  • In reply to cesba:

That was a great ball. Full field switch right to Nyarko's foot. Is that not what we want from our holding mid?

  • In reply to Rubberbandman189:

  • In reply to cesba:

    Dimitrov in for McBride

  • In reply to cesba:

81' - Stefan Dimitrov in for McBride. Doran says McBride had a "great game".

  • In reply to cesba:

What is Doran smoking? He must be watching another game.

  • In reply to cesba:

Final Toronto 4 Fire 1 - a terrible defensive effort by the entire back line in the second half

  • In reply to cesba:

I like this attractive new way of playing soccer. Was the weather affecting the play of Fire that much. Yeah I was suprised at Logan goal too. I wonder what the plan for todays game was? Why sub so early? Why you take out Pappa? I just got a lot of questions...

  • In reply to cesba:

I'm glad I missed it. It was even painful to read the summary.

  • 36' - Collins John in for Lowry...2 forward set

  • Halftime - Toronto 1 Fire 0 - Not a terrible first half, the Fire actually had more possesion and controlled the run of play but a bit of luck puts Toronto ahead
