  • After some technical difficulties the link is working.

  • I don't get the fascination of Deris Umanzor. Since De Los Cobos brought Umanzor to the team, he has little contribution to the team. Also, Julio Martinez is proving that he is not a MLS player. I want to see more playing time for Corben Bone. Bone shown signs that he is a legitimate MLS player. At Wake Forest, he put up descent numbers with 3 goals and 13 assists for a midfielder. As for Dykstra, my patience is running thin as him being the starter. When is the Team State of the Address with Frank Klopas? Lot of question with him in terms of negotiations with DP that can help the Fire?

  • Well Sean Johnson isnt much better than Dykstra. Johnson couldn't even kick the ball 30 yards in bounds on Wednesday. Umanzor is not good and we already knew that. He is a back up defender in this league and that is why we have Krol. Martinez is just as good as Banner. Banner played so bad these past 2 games that hopefully he moved behind Martinez on the depth chart. His little step over move he ALWAYS does looked so dumb and the defenders just won the ball from him EVERY time he touched it for 2 games.

  • Chicago Fire Problem positions:
    1. Goalkeeper
    2. Center midfield
    3. Striker
    4. Left midfield
What else is there? If we're getting a DP we need to focus on the problem positions. I say striker is number three because we fail to find our mojo there and have a lack of finishing problem.

  • In reply to patrickhattrick:

The Chicago Fire is interested in Greek striker Stavros Glouftsis from a THIRD division league. WOW!! Unbelivable. Why bother with this guy? 3rd division players doesn't cut it in the MLS. How was the Pascal Bedrossian experiment went with the Fire 3 years ago? This is going to be a long year for the Fire if this is the best they can do.

  • We'd probably see alot more production from our current strikers if they ever got decent service in a dangerous position. Center mid has to be priority #1.

  • Saw a comment from Seedorf that the AC Milan guys are not real motivated about this tour. Can't imagine why. Looks like they'll be dialing it on Sunday.

Dallas game should be much more intense.

  • In reply to oliotya:

Seedorf also said that MLS might be an option for him at some point but as of right now....it is not.
