  • Oh Thank you Lord that I did not buy my season tickets this year!!
As a former multi year Season Ticket Holder I did not get any recognition or special attention so why mention that you are a season ticket holder? Maybe so management can laugh at us Season Sucker Ticket Holder.
It's funny that nowhere on the scarf does it mention our Fire motto. "Tradition Honor Passion" that should always be on our scarves. "I fuel the Fire" sounds more like "I love to throw my money at the Fire senselessly and I am okay that our management can fatten their wallets and do whatever they want, I am okay being a secon class fan in there eyes. I noticed last year that it was a better deal buy those ticket packs than being a Season Ticket Holder. Thanks for the Scarf update Gman you made me not regret getting my tickets this year. By far the 2008 scarf is the best. WWPWD (what would Peter Wilt do) go Fire. I hope you season ticket holders can embroider Tradition Honor Passion to the scarves because management wants to forget about it.

    Janjo,
When I started here I mentioned that I would write about anyhting and everything Fire related. Season Ticket Holder issues included.

Did you bring up any problems to your STH rep?

  • In reply to Janjo:

Did I cause any problems? No...
But I did sent them a message voicing my concerns regarding the treatment of STHers. Which came back with no reply.

  • In reply to Janjo:

That's unfortunate for them. Did you try the fan relations department?

  • In reply to Janjo:

Do you go to all the home games Janjo? If not, then why not? It doesnt make sense to go to all the games and not get season tickets. If you go to a game and buy tickets there, its what $20?! If you go to all the home games and get tickets there it is at least $400. You can get season tickets for $200. So I am glad I have season tickets and will be buying them again next year. If I get 2 scarfs, a pancho, and a hat out of it then that's even better.

  • In reply to Rubberbandman189:

Joe your so bogus. You do not let me answer your question and your already assuming ( which makes an a$$ out of you) for thinking I don't go to every Fire game. I DID GO TO EVERY FIRE GAME SINCE 2006 AND EVERY BONUS GAME I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET.
We as season ticket holders get shafted ever year. And boy do I want the red carpet out when I step into Toyota Park. Why not Joe is there something wrong for asking a simple thank youonce in a while?? Heck no.
I'm giving you comment no protein shakes. I hope next time you ask a question to any of us you wait until we answer it for you. An only then you can unleash your inner self on somebody.
    Janjo out!!

"But I did sent them a message voicing my concerns regarding the treatment of STHers."

What concerns do you have with the treatment? Ive been a STH since 2008 but have gone to every games since 2007 and I dont really care if they dont talk to me. I'm not buying season tickets because of the FO. I'm buying them because its cheaper and more convenient for me to have them all.

I paid $200 for my season tickets. Tickets at the stadium or $20. If you go to all the games scheduled (20) then you are paying $400 a season. I guess I am getting a 50% discount.

  • In reply to Rubberbandman189:

I don't have any beef with you Joe. What really irritated me was your "If not comment" then you unleashed your self at me. I am a Fire fan thick and thin, but I am not a person that will never tolerate mediocrity from some management or person while they expect everything of me. Just like KISS says in front of thousands before their concert. "You want the best, you got the best." If I'm giving 100% why shouldn't my team give 100%.

We as season ticket holders have been taken for granted long enough. Thanks to Sam and now Gman for making it possible for us to have a platform to voice our concerns because we love the Fire, but we have the right to say something when the ship is going of course. If we give consent to let them do what ever they want pretty soon we will guiding the cars into the parking lot for them and cleaning the stadium after the game. It always starts with the little things.
It would be awesome to compare other Season Ticket Holders from other MLS and Sports Leagues and see what we can do better. Yeah I may lash out but I always try to make a positive from it.
Peace Joe and Chocolate Protein shakes for everybody!!

If you want a great looking scarf buy one from section 8! https://co.clickandpledge.com/advanced/default.aspx?wid=28212

  • In reply to Rubberbandman189:

Who is your ticket agent. It seems by the numbers you threw at me your getting a 50% discount wow!! I spend $3600 per season. If your numbers aren't fake I may be there next year?

  • In reply to Janjo:

How did they mistreat you? Do you want them to roll out a red carpet that only season ticket holders can walk on? Give them their own bathrooms? What do you want them to do for us?

  • In reply to Janjo:

That is a pretty terrible scarf, why is the logo funny looking and not facing the ends?

  • In reply to Janjo:

The picture is a bit of a relief. It's not as hideous looking as it appeared on the post card they sent out... but I doubt you'll catch me wearing it anywhere. (I'll stick with my Chicago Municipal colors, thank you very much.)

  • In reply to Byron:

If you don't want it, I'll take it :)

  • In reply to ChicagoFire8:

Let me get it in the mail first... but yeah, you can probably have it.

  • In reply to Byron:

    awesome :)

  • In reply to Byron:

    That is a great scarf.
