Fire Hosting Sueno MLS this weekend

In an effort to help identify undiscovered talents across the United States the Fire and MLS are hosting SuenoMLS this weekend.  Players ages 14-18 are eligible.  The 400 original spots for registration are closed but they are still taking waiting list registrants.  Prospects can get on the list at www.suenomls.com or by walk-in on Saturday from 8-9 am.

The event will take place at Montrose Park: 600 W. Montrose Ave in Chicago.  Out of 400 players, 30 will be back on Sunday.  From there 10 will be chosen to train with the Chicago Fire Academy.  After training with the academy 5 finalists will be chosen for the final in Los Angeles where they will join finalists from the Galaxy and Dynamo camps.

Chivas USA midfielder Jorge Flores is a graduate of the program, so it's worth a shot if you're a young guy with some skills.

great interview with Klopas. I am glad that WGN has the courtesy to acknowledge the Fire and the MLS.
