Ask Corben Bone

Corben Bone

I'm currently in the process of scheduling an interview with Fire rookie midfielder Corben Bone for next week. But, instead of hogging all the questions for myself, I've decided to open up the floor so all of you can pose some questions to the Wake Forest product.

Bone, who the Fire drafted with the 13th pick of this year's MLS Super Draft, should have a good deal to say about rookie life in MLS, how he's liking playing for the Fire thus far, and much more, so ask away. Get your questions posted by Monday morning (that's right, you have the WHOLE weekend) and I'll ask Corben the ones that make the cut.

I'll be back later on in the day with the Match of the Week post. Stay tuned...

  • What has been the biggest adjustment from college to the pros? Who on the current Fire squad has been most helpful during camp?

  • I know it's rude, but how much stick have you gotten over your last name?

  • How do you like the nickname Bonecrusher? Have you ever had a really clever nickname? What's your favorite you've had? Good luck with the upcoming season, Corben B.

  • 2-parter:
-Can you play on the wing or are you only comfortable in the center of the pitch?
-What do you consider your best defensive ability?

  • Were you surprised at how far you fell in the draft, considering you were projected to be taken higher? And do you feel you have something to prove to the teams that could have chosen you but decided to pass?
