The Fire are all set to take on Mexican Club Tigres UANL tonight and though I won't be at Toyota Park to provide you with any insight or the starting lineups, I thought I would post a matchday piece anyway.
So feel free to post any thoughts you have during the Fire match (and the Seattle/Barcelona match, it's at 9:30 on ESPN2) here and hopefully I'll be able to check in from time to time too.

Halftime at Toyota Park and it's knotted up 1-1. Patrick Nyarko scored the early goal for the Fire but Tigres answered in the last five minutes of the half with a great strike from Tamar. Should be an exciting 2nd half.
They're through with 90 at Toyota Park but it's still tied at 1. Going to penalties...
Fire lose 4-3 on penalties. Match recap will be up soon.
Disappointing way to lose. Tigres didn't stop the Fire penalties, they just missed the net. Ugh.
Only MLS cup left and if they win that maybe I'll forgive them for blowing Superliga final.
