Linked Up - An Interview with Jim Curtin

Real Salt Lake v Chivas USA

I'm just killing some time before heading out to Toyota Park for tonight's Fire--Chivas USA SuperLiga match and thought I'd share an interesting article that Flynn Murphy (blogger for Section 8's "D! News Weekly") sent me the other day.

The article is [an interview with Flynn and Chivas USA defender Jim Curtin](http://section8chicago.com/jm3/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=426&catid=52&Itemid=159) (formerly of the Fire). It's a good read and Curtin is pretty candid throughout, offering his opinions on the Open Cup, MLS play, and life in Chicago/L.A.

I'll be posting from Toyota Park after the match ends so keep a look out for that. But in the meantime, definitely take a look at the article, it's an interesting perspective and Curtin seems like a pretty cool guy.

  • In reply to bert:

    Hey Bert,

Jeff Curtin retired in 2008 after a long series of injuries kept him from playing. He had been playing for D.C. United at the time.
