It was an amazing Saturday afternoon in Andersonville as hundreds of zombies gathered for a pub crawl on N Clark St on a gloomy but fresh spring day.
Most people seemed to have a lot of fun, but later in the evening, after the pub crawl had been going on for hours, a woman collapsed on the street. She appeared to be having some kind of seizure. She may have had fake blood all over her face and looked like a zombie, but her distress was real.
In one of those moments when life imitates art, her friends, who were also dressed like zombies were trying to care for her while a group of seemingly drunk slow moving zombies looked at her while wobbling from side to side just like real zombies.
As the ambulance pulled up, the confused paramedics treated the woman, even though it looked like a scene from "Dawn of the Dead."
We hope the zombie lady is okay!
