Making the case for doing whatever the fuck you want on Election Day

“If Romney wins there are going to be many riots in the next four years. I’ll be starting one of them.”  That is from the Twitter account of an idiot. An idiot who has not properly thought out their immediate future.

“I was going to say, if Obama wins I'm moving out of America. But then I realized I don't live in America. I live in Illinois.” That was another Twitter offering from a Mitt Romney supporter.

During the past few months, I have witnessed some pretty awful things in the social media world. People are so anti-Democrat or Republican, that they refuse to give any ground. Even when the evidence is presented to debunk their political partisan theories.

I say this: Do whatever you want to do today.

If want to give President Obama another four years, go right ahead.

If you want to give Mitt Romney a chance, go right ahead.

If you want to vote for Gary Johnson,Jill Stein,Virgil Goode,or Rocky Anderson, go right ahead.

If you have something better to do today besides voting like catching up on some sleep or watching season four of Breaking Bad on Netflix, go right ahead.

Don’t let the Obamamaniacs, the uber right-wing, friends, and family guilt trip you into doing something that you are not 100 percent comfortable with.

Do what you feel is best. If you don’t vote, I suggest that you have some sort of contingency plan in place. You can’t just not vote and leave it at that.

Moral of the story: Don't let people push you around. Stand on your own two feet.

Full disclosure: I voted on the first day of early voting.
