It's too late to get mad about outsourcing

For all of you who were outraged that Ralph Lauren made uniforms for the opening ceremonies for the 2012 Olympics that were made in China I have to let you in on little secret.

That iPhone you have or that a flat screen TV or better yet that piece of "American muscle" you call a Dodge Challenger are from American companies but most likely was not made in the good ol' U.S. of A.

Having heard that info it's time tell you that it is too late to get mad about outsourcing.  I’m sorry to be so blunt but this is the new normal.

Most products we as Americans use on a daily basis were made somewhere else.

Last week’s baseball all-star game was full of players from other countries.

And the latest Batman movies ...most of the main characters are British. How can that be?? The Dark Knight is as American as it gets.

Remember when you call tech support and the person has a hard time understanding you because they have a foreign accent?  Outsourcing!!

Next time your kids are watching a cartoon look at the credits. You will notice that the animators may have Asian names.

Two years I bought a Buick. I looked at the car fax report. I discovered that my car was made in Canada.

Outsourcing is here to stay. It’s not going anywhere.

Folks it’s time to get used to it.

Our county is always open for business.
