Sometimes during a Super bowl party people do not remember the final score of the game. They remember the guy who did not bring anything. I am sure that most of us have been to a Super bowl party before. Having said that, we all know whom the people are who only bring their appetites. Which happens to be their only contribution the festivities at hand. The friends or friend of friends who do not bring the things that most people contribute to a Super Bowl party spread: Food, beer, ice, chips, etc.
These people seem to only bring their appetites. I am not sure why these people do this. Is it because they don’t have the money (if that is the case there is no shame in staying at home) or is that they just do not know any better. I strongly believe that it is proper etiquette to bring at least one of those items to a Super Bowl party or any other get-together for that matter. Sometimes this person is pulled aside and given a lesson in etiquette to not appear as being confrontational. But all know that can backfire so what can you do??
For all of you who made this mistake on Sunday think of this: By bringing something to the gathering you show that not only you possess proper manners it also shows to you respect the person or persons hosting said gathering.
