My name is David. This is a blog about faith in the heart of Chicago.

My job takes me all over the city, and I am lucky that I get paid to interview people about their work, their faith, and the intersection of the two in their lives.

I want to meet more of these people, and tell more of these stories. I want to talk about the way communities of faith are woven into the life of business and politics here in this city, and the way in which the history and the future of Chicago are wrapped up in the way we think about the Big Questions: Why are we here? Who made us? What scares us? What gives us hope? What are we called to do?

And I'd like to do it in chunks of about 500-1000 words at a time.

If you're interested, I also produce stories for radio and television. You can find out more about my day job here.
