Snow is on the ground, Christmas lights are twinkling in store windows and Lifetime is rolling out classic holiday films like Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus and 12 Men of Christmas. We get it Lifetime--you want a boyfriend for Christmas. But slow your roll winter--it's only November 12th and autumn is not done with us yet!

River North Dance Chicago kicks off their 2013-2014 season this week with Autumn Passions, featuring three new premieres and several old favorites. The standbys include Nejia Yatkin's solo piece Renatus, Daniel Ezralow's SUPER STRAIGHT is coming down..., and the jazzy Eva from Artistic Director Frank Chaves. World premieres include Kevin Iega Jeff's Dawn, which explores "the age of enlightenment," as well as Ashley Roland's Get Out the Ghost, described as an "athletic and quirky" piece.

Autumn Passions is this weekend only, November 16 and 17 at the Harris Theater, preceded by a special family friendly performance this Friday, November 15 called Street Beat: Dancing Through the Decades. For more info and to purchase tickets visit www.harristheaterchicago.org.
