Chicago's only Latino-centric dance company Luna Negra will present Made in Spain this Saturday, March 9, at Harris Theater. The spring performance brings together two choreographers, guest artist Fernando Hernando Magadan and the company's own Monica Cervantes.
Magadan's piece is the world premiere of Royal Road, accompanied by upbeat live music from Grammy Award winning jazz legends Turtle Island Quartet. This is sure to be a unique viewing and listening experience.
Cervantes will also present a world premiere, hers entitled Presente and set to a variation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Six dancers embody the classical music and usher in spring with unique and fresh choreography.
