I apologize to everyone for not posting this week or posting as much as I'll like too. The culprit for my delays, wedding planning. My husband and I never had a first official marriage, we did the shotgun get married by court, me being pregnant looking like Jabba the hutt; it definitely wasn't memorable. So now on our 5 year marriage anniversary we are having our OFFICIAL wedding; exciting right? I thought so till I got to all this crazy wedding planning.
My wedding is on July 20th, this year. So I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to tie all the loose ends. One of them, that is by far the most annoying is RSVP's. OMG, who ever thought that RSVPing was going to be the hardest thing ever. I know that I personally am a last minute RSVPer, but now that it is happening to me, I promise I'll always do it in a timely matter. Just trying to get all the peeps to RSVP has been hard and time consuming.
The big items in wedding planning tend to be the easiest. The ceremony site, the reception site, the dress, the tuxes; all those are the ones that usually get bumped off first. The hardest items to plan for are definitely the music (selecting what songs you want...list can be super LONG), RSVPing, getting limo or party bus (they book FAST), gifts for the bridesmaids and groomsmen along with gifts for parents of bride & groom, the items to decorate all the tables with (OMG...struggling with that) and of course flowers.
So to all my readers (all 20 of you, haha), I promise to write more once this crazy hectic event passes. In the meanwhile, if you are planning on getting married, start planning!!! For a slacker like me, the earlier you start the easier it will be later.
