It's Tight But It's Right: President Obama Wins A Tight Race!

Obama: 53597381 (popular vote)

Romney: 52878247 (popular vote)

This has been an intense race & the momentum to energize everyone to exercise the right to vote has been great!! Each an every individual who voted in this election was an integral part of this historical event. Years ago when I met B. H. Obama I knew that it was something dynamic about him when I received a copy of his book at a business breakfast event. It is amazing to see what he has accomplished since that time. I saw the momentum that was in the room when I attended President Barak Obama's 50th Birthday party.

The number of people who at least saw that in the past 4 years that there has been some changes that people could believe in. There is still a lot of things that Obama needs to do in the days ahead and the expectation will be much greater the next four years. Now, it the time to enjoy this day. Why? This day is an amazing one! Obama has been tweeting to the public while news casters have been waiting for tweets from the Romney team. The candidates campaigned to the very end and with the race being so tight, it was definitely necessary. Yet, the sticking issue has been, in my opinion, who has campaigned from a position that at least proclaim to represent all people. It is important to represent ALL people as the president of the United States and I hope to see more balance in this area during the next 4 years. This is a day of celebration and a day that we must realize that the people of America have spoken!!!

I know that Mitt Romney is not conceding at this time. However, the voice of American citizens declares the final results. This election is tight, but the people's choice is right!

I say party and celebrate to the fullest whether your candidate of choice won or not! Live a little (or a lot) and enjoy your favorite foods, drinks & deserts! Splurge a little and enjoy this evening a lot. Have a fun, fantastic & fabulous time enjoying your favorite items as it is not every day that you elect a new president and it is definitely a day to record when the American people have re-elected it's first president of color.

Congratulations President Obama!!!!

I am determined to live my best life now by making health and wellness choices that will lead to a long life. As a single-mom, lawyer, author, speaker, managing real estate broker, speaker, marathon finisher and global visionary with an active christian lifestyle who enjoys volunteering for numerous activities life gets very busy. I realize that I am usually the last item on my to-do list, if I get on it at all. I know some of you know what I mean. Well it's time to put first things first - me! I have seen and I continue to see the impact of cancer, diabetes, high-blood pressure, high-cholesterol and diabetes on family, friends and people in general. I know that I want to live a long and abundant life so I figured it was time, in the words of the late Michael Jackson, to "make that change!" So, this soul food loving sistah has decided to "go vegan" or shall I say follow a plant-based diet! How will I do it in this city of tasty temptations at each corner and a family of food lovers like myself. Well, the plan has been and will be to do it one day at a time. This is definitely a journey, a challenging one for me, that will take me on the ride of my life. I could take the ride alone, but there's no need to that when I have all of you. So, join me on this plant-based journey.
