Wellness with Oneness
"We have been privileged to experience the Oneness Blessings and teachings of 'Oneness', which have enhanced our understanding of what it is to be united with all. We have always been on a spiritual path and the Oneness Blessings and teachings have heightened that experience. We are truly grateful."

If it's good enough for Wolverine then it's good enough for me. Although I don't know how I would fare with having a blessing from someone with three steel claws on each hand. Anyway, what I am talking about is the Oneness phenomenon. If you read this blog then you know I'm kind of a straight shooter. I don't like multi-level marketing or anything too pushy or overly religious but the Oneness Blessing is truly a non-denominational experience. It is designed to awaken the connection with the oneness in everything, allowing each of us to deepen our relationship with those we love, with ourselves and with our creator (as you believe).
During an Oneness Blessing
a Deeksha Giver works as a channel to transfer energy by placing their hands upon the head of a receiver. This blessing is offered in a safe and sacred space created by the givers but beyond that, there is no set format for an Oneness Blessing
session. Some experience feelings of clarity, slight tingling on the head, calmness, connection, joy and even bless. Sometimes there is no feeling at all until several days later.
Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma
are the husband and wife visionaries behind Oneness. They say that, "Life is relationship"
. They believe you become what you hate and manifest what you hate or . . . become what you love and manifest what you love. Sri Amma says, "There is one single desire that drives all human life and that is the desire to love and the desire to be loved."
Unlike other spiritual teachings, the Oneness
process allow you to "feel your feelings" instead of just "affirming" them away. In our society we view spiritual people as weak but it takes a lot of strength to feel your emotions instead of using food, booze, sugar, "insert your favorite vice here" to deal with them.
I also have come to appreciate the irony of these teachings. The next best thing to enlightenment is knowing you are not enlightened. Sri Bhagavan
has cautioned, "Don't become enlightened if you are not." Many of us have a certain amount of attachment to identity that we are working on. I notice this attachment especially with food addiction. A client I am coaching who wants to give up caffeine may excitedly say, "I'm an iced single Venti Mocha, no whip. That's my drink. That's me!" When the attachment is released then the client can give up that addiction if desired.
I have to be completely honest with you, Oneness
has changed my life. I know that sounds corny and I really hate corny. There have been times during this recession where I really wanted to give up on anything spiritual. It could be very easy for me to think negatively. I'm not going to bore you with my version of the After-school Special
but I had my fair share of difficulty growing up. I certainly have my reasons for not wanting to be "one" with most people. My experience with Oneness
lifted that for me and helped me to have a greater love of humanity, which in turn has released tremendous stress and has benefited me physically. When you feel one with humanity there is no need for competition or even low self-esteem. To read more about the benefits of Oneness
Speaking of the recession, I also appreciate the fact that most blessings are offered for "love offering", meaning you give what you can or give what you feel is intuitively right for you. Most local weekend training events are less than $100, which compared to many spiritual programs is very reasonable.
