60 Second Cycling: Upcoming Events and Week In Review

60 Second Cycling: Upcoming Events and Week In Review
Waterfall at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park, Creve Coeur, MO

It's Friday and you're probably wondering what's going on this weekend.

The chainlink features a calendar highlighting events for the next week or so.  Among them is the Windy City Cycling Club's Season Opening Party on Saturday, Occupy the Bike Lane on Sunday, and the beginning of the Gaper's Block Crit Series on Monday.

Lazy Link Sharing.  It's been a busy week for me traveling to St. Louis for business.  As such, I haven't had time to review each piece of news coming out of the National Bike Summit in Washington DC.  Fortunately, these great organizations have!

League of Illinois Bicyclists.  In addition to winning an advocacy award (Congrats LIB!), updates are being posted frequently on LIB's Facebook page.

Active Transportation Alliance.  The ATA works tirelessly for cyclists in and around Chicago.  Follow them on Facebook and on their blog.

League of American Bicyclists.  A great organization keeping us up-to-date via Facebook, Twitter, and their very informative website.

Next week is looking like another great week to be out riding - spring just might be here to stay.  Stay tuned for more trail reviews and helpful tips.

In the meantime, keep riding and be safe!
