Last week I had the brief (very brief) opportunity to drive the 2014 Jaguar F-Type. And it was AH-mazing. It's a tight little car with responsive handling, hot looks and comfy seats. Base price for the F-Type with the 340-horsepower, V-6 supercharged engine is $69,000. I took my turn in the F-Type S with the 380-horsepower, V-6 supercharged engine ($81,000). The top-of-the-line model is the F-Type V8 S with a 495-horsepower, 5.0-liter, supercharged V-8 ($92,000).
I thought the mid-range model was phenomenal, so I can only imagine what the F-Type can do with 115 more horses!
My favorite feature: The Active Sport Exhaust. You can be elegant and proper with a nice little purr from the exhaust, or you can flip the switch and get down and dirty with a deep, sporty growl.
Can't wait until I get this car for a full test. I think I could fit a couple of backpacks in the boot for a road trip ...
Speaking of the "boot," wondering how many Ciminillos fit back there? Be sure to check out my @girlinthetrunk blog post!
