It's always interesting what you appreciate in a car when the weather turns cold in Chicago. My new favorite feature: Heated steering wheel. And, even better, you don't have to spend $60K to $70K to get it in a luxury vehicle. I had it this week on my tester: A 2012 Kia Sorento.
The only downer: You have to upgrade to the top-of-the-line SX model ($33,150) to get this feature. But it's standard. The other good news? At this level, you get a bevy of other awesome standards including heated front seats, cooled driver's seat, leather seating surfaces, Infinity surround sound system, navigation and third-row seating.Well worth the price if you ask me. You won't find a better stocked vehicle at this level.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, the base price of the Sorento is $23,150. Amazing.
