So, I'm a lead foot. And my MPGs are notoriously awful. Which is why my time in the Mitsubishi Outlander was a nice surprise.
I'm currently commuting out to Hoffman Estates from Logan Square, and my morning drive is something less than desirable in terms of flow. Stop and stop and more stopping before going on the Kennedy and then a cool 65 mph on the Jane Adams is a more adequate description of the drive. So, when I discovered that I was getting around 22 mpg as an average in the Outlander, I was definitely pleased. Especially considering that this is an AWD vehicle and EPA estimates mileage should ring in at 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
