As a single woman, I appreciate anything that not only makes my life a little easier but also a little safer. The Mazda6 does that in two ways: the exterior greeting light and the red ring around the ignition.
The parking lot where I work is kind of dark at night, so the little welcome light on the side mirror is a much appreciated feature that allows me to get a good view of what's surrounding the car as well as actually see the door handle as I approach. Once inside, the dark interior contributes to the overall gloom enshrouding the vehicle. So, the red ring around the ignition is like a bulls eye that allows you to click the car in start and get that heat rolling pronto.
These are just little touches, but sometimes it's those little things that make all the difference.
