Who says automakers don't do nice things?
Many of them do--like Ford's Warrior's in Pink program that raises money for breast cancer research and even includes the possibility of buying a pink (yes, bubble gum PINK) Mustang.
You just don't often hear about it.
So, as the winter holidays are in full swing, I figured I'd clue you in to Subaru's "Share the Love" event.
From now until Jan. 4, if you buy or lease a new Subaru, the automaker will donate $250 to one of 5 charities: American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Boys and Girls Club of America, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity or the National Wildlife Federation.
Last year the event raised more than $5 million dollars.
So, if you were ever thinking of buying a Subaru, now would be a good time.
Um, just don't opt for the navigation system. Details to follow in a future blog, so stay tuned.
