The Kids On The Bus

This movie I saw over the weekend (by the guy who directed "Eternal Sunshine...") focuses almost entirely on a bunch of high school kids who ride home on a New York City bus on the last day of school for the year -- and who are impressively wise, amazingly clueless, casually mean, and extremely sweet.

Refreshingly the teens are treated as individuals, rather than superficial representatives of their race or economic status (or merely as victims of the environment they've been born into).

Remember:  "Red band trailer" means so volume down or headphones up if you're at work (swear words!). Here's the NYT review.
