  • ps i heard folks saying last week that the reform bill is coming back -- maybe without the ban on strikes -- and that it might well go through the second time. anyone else hearing the same?

  • No, but I find it funny that no one is commenting on this. Hmmm, the way I see it, people want teachers to be regulated to death, but they don't want the same thing for homeschools? WTF? Also, there is a comment that homeschooled children do much better. Well, duh. There are far fewer children sitting in the classroom and they can receive individualized attention.

    Homeschools should be just as accountable as I am.

    Why? The home-schoolers are not receiving any tax dollars. And they still have to PAY taxes to support the public schools that they are not using.
