More Questions About The Harlem Children's Zone

CityLimits_March2010 There's a new look at the HCZ in a New York City magazine called City Limits (Hope or Hype In Harlem?) that raises many of the questions that mainstream newspaper and broadcast reporters have missed about whether the program is really as comprehensive, effective, or replicable as has been suggested.  There's also a feisty little audio segment about the debate (Assessing Harlem Children's Zone).

  • I was not able to open a few o the link, but after having heard Mr. Canada on various NPR programs touting HCZ, so I am familiar with it, but I have heard precious little argument against it. I am pretty certain I do not want to pay five dollars to hear the arguments against it either. If there is are issues against HCZ, what are they?
