Lawmakers alter FOIA rules for teachers State Journal Register

latest exception to the state public record law is contained in a bill,
Senate Bill 315, that revamps the performance evaluation process for
teachers and requires that student performance be considered in job
assessments.

  • I'm surprised you don't have anything up about the charges against Supt Flowers. I know he's not district 299 but it's still a big ed story in this neck of the woods.

  • Retired Principal said: When CPS finally announces the school closures this month for the 2010-2011 school year, it will include 2 high schools to be turnarounded and 18 elementary schools to be turnarounded, closed, phased out or consolidated.
